Originating in the US, the mattress-in-a-box business model has rapidly gained popularity in the UK, with a whole host of well-known names plying for customers’ attention.

When a well-known furniture retailer came to us with a wish to launch a new mattress-in-a-box, we knew we needed to create a stand-out brand to cut through an already crowded marketplace.

This was to be a truly end-to-end branding project. Market research made sure we identified what made this mattress a breath of fresh air. Recognising the health benefits of a good night’s sleep led us to align the brand with ‘mindfulness’, allowing us to evolve a strong set of core values and pared-back aesthetic.

We dreamed up a proper contemporary brand identity from the ground up, with it’s own clear direction and personality. From the new brand name with its simple eye icon and tranquil colour palette., to fresh emotive photography and packaging design, this was a brand to send you soundly off to sleep. The development of the Idyll brand touched each and every department in the agency.

With the conception of idyll sleep cam a a slick new website, designed by out UX specialists. Developed in WordPress, with WooCommerce and Klarna, the purchase process is as simple as possible. Customers can quickly find their desired product and checkout with ease.

The digital marketing team created a digital blueprint for all SEO and paid-for activity. A constantly evolving digital content and SEO strategy drives high quality traffic to the newly launched website. Through ongoing optimisation and writing relevant, search-friendly branded content, the team continues to implement and refine their approach.
